The history of the Cologne Cathedral

However, the efforts of builders, sculptors and artists were not in vain – the result was a huge temple complex, which at that time had no equal in the world. The size of the Cologne Cathedral is approximately 7970 sq meters, its construction took about 300 tons of stone.
