Industrial landscapes of antiquity
Many of the “old” buildings, careful consideration, be… parts of the “industrial buildings” and not temples, minarets or other frills. We present you some colorful and overwhelming evidence.
In January of this year in the journal discussed the question of what are numerous ancient tower. The towers are varied and scattered across the globe, in all different shapes, single or multiple, round or square. There was a wide variety of versions up to the most fantastic. but never come to a consensus. I assumed that since these towers are very similar to the minarets and their purpose is the same – to call people to prayer and to give top tips. Oh how wrong I was.
The reality was so simple and at the same time, amazingly I dug all day in search of photos to confirm his hypothesis.
But first I’ll let the photos of these mysterious towers of antiquity.
Note any Windows and are located on different levels and often quite high off the ground and definitely on the top.
And now hocus pocus.
Yes, Yes. Yes is pipe and pecinta burning limestone and blast furnace. Of course historians have tried with restorers and turned many of them in medieval castles and minarets and just don’t clear the tower. I pay much attention to the technologies and their development, including the production of cement in ancient times. Because Rome still has already used the “Roman” cement, and this is the first lime! Metallurgy also uses limestone to the charge as a component for iron. Such a high structure in the form of pipes needed with exactly the same purpose as now – PULL! The higher the chimney the greater the pull and therefore don’t need a boost, no one there except fur, it’s not forge – Fig pimp, but such a tube creates sufficient draught! Moreover, all these Windows are now perfectly clear: through them, covered the charge!
I also want to draw attention to the area where the most common “tower” is rich on the places where stone construction and were made of stone. well here without cement! First, put the cement factory and then grew up around the city.
But that’s not all.
It’s not the beacon is a Bessemer furnace.
Look what wonderful minarets. a pair like requires Canon!
